We weren't the only first timers there, and I think the others were as happy as we were. This unassuming little place is fresh and authentic. The flour tortillas are soft and hot, the meat is not greasy (I ate four street tacos with not one single grease spot on my dress), and he made more happy noises over his quesadilla than he does over my home cooking.
No beer, but there are cold bottles of Mexican sodas in the fridge, as well as a Pepsi machine. There are local families dining, and there are plenty of sauces to choose, from mild to hot, including fresh pico, so you can help yourself -

Very good cheap hole in the wall place. Delicious food. It is nothing to go out of your way for but if you are in the area I would definitely go here.

Food was great. We had street taco and tamale. Tamale was served with the husk and the perfect temperature. Street tacos did not disappoint. Good selection of salsa. Chips were amazing. Great flavor and texture. We will definitely come back when in Rochester.
Food was fast and delicious. We ate so fast that we forgot to even take pictures to share. -

Food was authentic and good -but the place was not clean. Wasn't busy like not clean yet -just not clean. Windows were dirty. Countertop was sticky. Serving areas sticky. Probably won't go back because of that -and really a shame as the food was good.

Excellent taqueria. It's unassuming from the outside, but you'll be greeted by brightly colored chairs, and pain inside.
I'd recommend the enchiladas i'd recommend the enchiladas that to Sueños. They were very delicious and covered in different kinds of enchilada sauce. I chose to get them with beef which was very tender and full of flavor. It also comes with a side of rice and beans both of which I thought were excellent.
My husband ordered the combination plate with two tamales and one chicken taco. The chicken taco was also very good. The taco was crispy on the outside. The meet was tender on the inside. The tamales were some of the best I've had in a restaurant. The masa it was very moist and tender and the flavors subtle. They were complemented nicely with the spicy green salsa from the salsa bar.
Overall we had a great experience and surely will be back again. I would highly recommend you try it if you're in the mood for a Mexican food in Rochester.
